Special functions
Engineering features that solve the hardest points in tube and conical part production. Included from the Starter plan.
Layer length staggering
Ensures a homogeneous fiber distribution so that the ends are not thicker than the body of the part.
Two-thickness staggering at the ends
Creates a reinforced end zone on tubes and conical surfaces, with a staggered transition to the body thickness.
Entry cycle management
Controls how each layer starts, until the winding pattern is stable: repeatable starts with less wasted fiber.
Constant free length tension control
Keeps the fiber length between the payout eye and the mandrel constant, for uniform tension throughout the part.
Coming soon to guiFW
Features under development, with no guaranteed release date. They will be added to the plans when launched.
Structural calculation to standards
Sizing and verification of filament wound parts according to the applicable standard, with a calculation report.
- ASME RTP-1 and ASME Section X – composite vessels and tanks
- ISO 14692 – GRP piping for oil and gas
- ISO 11119 – composite gas cylinders
- AWWA M45 – fiberglass pipe for water
- ABNT NBR 15536 – GRP pipes for sanitation and drainage
- ABNT NBR 16989 – GRP poles for power distribution networks up to 36.2 kV
- Utility specifications for GRP poles, with a calculation profile for each utility: CEMIG TDAT-24-C, Energisa ETU-114.3, Neoenergia DIS-ETE-002
- ANSI C136.20 – composite lighting poles
